Cam White Wins Dew Cup In BMX Dirt, 2008 Overall Champion

Vans BMX Team rider Cam White took home the title in BMX Dirt this past weekend at the last stop of the AST Dew Tour in Orlando, Florida. Cam had some serious competition with Dennis Enarson and Corey Bohan but held it together in all three runs to claim the overall title and the $75,000 that comes with it.

State Radio On Tour Now

Trey Parker and Matt Stone know a thing or two about politics. That is why it is easy to see how they came together with State Radio singer, Chad Stokes, formerly of Dispatch, back in 1999 to help produce "How's Your News." The politically minded Stokes and the satirical humor of the South Park guys equals a documentary featuring disabled people conducting man-on-the-street interviews.

Vans Snow Team Signing In Seattle This Weekend!

Vans Intl. Snow Team riders: Darrell Mathes, Mark Landvik, Jonas Michilot and Zac Marben will be hangin' out with the SnoCon boys up in Seattle this weekend and doing an autograph session. On Saturday, Oct. 25th from 3-4 pm at the SNOW EXPO at Quest Field in Seattle, the guys will be signing posters at the Sno Con booth. Come by for autographs and then stay to check out the rail jam to follow at 7pm.

The Vans Skate Team was at the amazing Creature contest this weekend in Ramona, CA at Jake Doomey's shop. Rumble in Ramona was original cars and original skaters coming together, and with live bands, you can't ask for a better skate scene. The contest started at 1pm and lasted until sun down.

Vans BMX Riders Reach Final Stretch Of Dew Tour Season

The Vans BMX Team is already flipping and whipping all over the place here in Orlando at the final stop of the AST Dew Tour. Ryan Guettler sending a backflip tailwhip over the hip on the park course and somehow he landed on the pedals - Go big or go home. This is the last big contest of the year so make sure to check out BMX Park finals tonight on NBC and the BMX Dirt contest tomorrow. Luke Parlsow and Cam White are in the running for the Dew Cup in dirt so some major moves will go down. It should be nuts!

Dew Action Sports Tour Warms Up In Orlando

So we're finally here at the completion of the fifth stop on the Dew Action Sports Tour. This year's tour is lead by Vans' very own Bucky Lasek, who has won the Dew Cup twice- once in 2005 and again in 2006. The final competition on Saturday won't be easy: "Bob Burnquist has pulled out big surprises at every stop of the tour; Andy MacDonald just won his first-ever Dew Tour stop last month and is on a roll; Pierre-Luc Gagnon had a huge year at X Games and the Maloof Money Cup and is hungry for a Dew Tour win; 19 year-old Adam Taylor is in 5th place overall and wants to make the podium as a birthday present to himself, and Sandro Dias is determined to stick a 900 into a run that would surely put him on top of any podium if he can pull it off ("

I know its Monday, but that's how long it has taken to recover   from the carnage that went down at the 4 th annual Vans   Downtown   Showdown on Saturday.   I will try my best to describe what went down, but really it is one of those times when you say, " you should have been there!". 

Blind Takes Vans Downtown Showdown Team Title!

The 4th Vans Downtown Showdown was held on the Paramount Studios back lot Saturday with the world's top street skaters attacking custom-built obstacles set against a New York City backdrop. The Blind board crew claimed team honors and $30,000 while Zero's Jamie Tancowny won $5,000 as top am and Blind's Jani Laitiala was named top pro and placed in three of four obstacles, pocketing $14,000 total.

They wanted something classic and radical, so of course GYoung got the call for his classic one-handed tabletops. Z-Boy Show Coming To LA

The Z-Boys were the kids from Santa Monica and Venice who sparked the aggressively creative skateboard movement back in the 70s. The Z-Boy Show features original works from many who created modern skateboarding as we know it now including Craig Stecyk, Skip Engblom, Allen Sarlo, Nathan Pratt and Peggy Oki.
